2022 U13 Boys and Girls State Championships Information and registration

The U13 State Championships is an opportunity for Townsville to send away representative teams for our U13 age group. Townsville has a proud history of performance in this age group and this is the first State level competition for Juniors. This year due to Covid concerns and feedback from previous touring families, Townsville U13 and U15 teams will be independently travelling and accommodating. Families that are unable to take their child to state championships please raise this concern with THA and with communication and assistance of other families we can find workable solutions for getting all players to championships.

This year the Boys State Championship will be held in Gladstone 3rd - 6th July. The Girls State Championship will be held in Ipswich.
Key dates:
Trials Hawthorn Shield - Sundays 20th + 27th March 5:00-6:15pm
Training Hawthorn Shield - Mondays 25th April, 2nd + 9th May 5:15-6:30pm
Hawthorn Shield 14th - 15th May (Held in Cairns)

Teams for State Championships will be finalised from the Hawthorn Shield carnival. Training for these team will consist of Fitness and Gameplay trainings.
Fridays team Fitness 4:30-5:15, Monday's stick skills and match play training 5:00-6:30pm
State Championship dates: 3rd - 6th July
