2023 U11 Mackay Carnival Information and registration

The Mackay U11 Carnival is a fantastic weekend of fun and excitement for all players aged 8-11years.
Townsville has a proud history of sending 3 teams of boys and 3 teams of girls to this carnival.

Townsville Hockey see this as the first opportunity for our youngest athletes to wear the Townsville colours and enjoy
representing their city for the first time.

THA encourage young coaches that can relate to the kids and encourage them to have fun in different positions and take away valuable learnings about team work and Townsville's way of play. The social aspect of the weekend is always high with the players, parents and supporters having a great fun weekend away.

THA aim to send 3 teams in each gender and are selected with the #1 team as the strongest to play in Div 1 and our other two teams are selected equally to play in Div 2.

The Mackay Carnival is self stay and self accommodate over the weekend of the 5th and 6th August, should you wish to assist over the weekend as a coach, manager or just as a helpful parent or if you have any further questions please let the RCD know at rcd@townsvillehockey.com


Training sessions will be run in the lead up and will be communicated once the teams are announced and coaches are in place.
