U14 Boys State Championships 2024 Information and registration

The U14 boys State Championships for 2024 will be held in Toowoomba from the 30th June - 3rd July.
Players selected in these teams will accommodate and travel independently.


It is Townsville Hockey's goal to send as many players as possible to these State championships particularly for this age group in order to expose and develop our player base as a whole.
THA is aiming to send and prepare two teams however we need the numbers support this so please register your interest ASAP.

Key selection and training details are below leading up to the Championships:

Trials and Games :
Hawthorn Shield against Cairns- COMPLETED
Junior and Senior local club games .
Club selectors will be observing junior and senior club games in the lead up to final team selections.

Monday 13th May 5-6pm Billabong Turf - Full Squad training and Selection
Monday 20th May 5-6pm Bears Grass - Full Squad training and Selection
Friday 24th May - Final teams will be named and communicated
Monday 27th May, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th Team trainings.

Please Note Training sessions will take place on Mondays are subject to change as as per coach and manager instruction.
Sunday sessions maybe added if the coach and managerial staff see fit.
Sessions will include turf and grass trainings , fitness, game play and structural sessions. It is expected that all players wanting to represent THA at the Un14 state championship make themselves available for these sessions. If at any stage the player is unavailable please let the coach and manager aware.
